I feel as though Tammi Terrell is an unsung artist who's life was cut too short on Earth. Terrell had a brain tumor that ultimately stopped her singing career and it was during the height of her success; once paired with Marvin Gaye everything skyrocketed. Unfortunately, some may argue that Motown Records downplayed Terrell's sickness in the public's eye which affected her comrade, Marvin Gaye personally ( took years off in career) and professionally (anthem: 'What's Going On'). Tammi Terrell's death at 24 years old is definitely and wake up call because it's just proof that life's too short and dreams can be achieved no matter the circumstance!
